"A Catholic Education Is An Advantage For Life"

Catholic Schools have a Vision A vision for excellence....

a vision that Catholic education is an advantage for life. Although the facts and figures support this belief, a Catholic
education provides advantages far greater than academics. Catholic schools, in partnership with parents, prepare
students to become full and active members of the Catholic Church, to serve others and to make a difference in the world.
It's a fact...

Beliefs and Values

A vision for life…. Regardless of students’ religious beliefs or backgrounds, Catholic educators provide a unique
opportunity for students to integrate beliefs and values into their lives.

What is costs...

Annual tuition may be paid in monthly installments or at the beginning of the academic year.

How we can help...

Many annual scholarships may be available either from the school or the Education Foundation
of the Archdiocese to help students attend Catholic schools. Inquire at school.
A birth certificate, baptismal certificate, immunization record, and, if relevant, a report card from the child’s
previous school, must be presented at the time of application, along with a small, non-refundable fee.

Give your child the gift that will last a lifetime: a Catholic education.

Holy Cross School challenges students to reach high academic standards while fostering their self-esteem –
the key to successful learning.

Located beside Mission San Buenaventura, the school provides a safe, disciplined environment where children can learn
and grow. Parents work in partnership with the school to prepare students to become full, active members of the
Catholic Church at the site of one of the original California missions. At Holy Cross students recognize the need to serve
others and participate in community life.

In addition to a strong academic program that emphasizes religious values, Holy Cross offers:

Computer Lab

All classes attend computer lab at least once a week for word processing. Students
in kindergarten through second grade attend daily for the Writing to Read program.

Hot Lunch Program

Hot lunches are offered once a week by parent volunteers

Extracurricular Activities

Football, basketball, volleyball, anc cheerleading are offered to students in sixth through eighth grade.

Extended-Day Care

Child care is available for a nominal fee from 6:30 a.m. to 8 a.m. and 2:55 p.m. to 6 p.m.
