Channel Islands National Park
One of Ventura’s most unique attractions is the Channel Islands National Park.
The only national park in Southern California is made up of Anacapa, Santa Cruz,
San Miguel, Santa Rosa and Santa Barbara Islands. The islands are excellent sites
for diving, kayaking, camping, hiking and mountain biking. Experts boast that
some of the best kayaking and diving spots in the world are located just 14 miles
from the Ventura Coast. When visiting the islands enjoy the wide variety of ocean
mammals and fauna. Visitors can land on the islands by boat or air.
